Despite the correcting Cincinnati housing market, Oakley continues to be a place where young and old alike want to live. Central location, affordable prices, shopping, and entertainment are all great reasons to make Oakley your home in Cincinnati.
Below is a graph reflecting the number of homes on the market in Oakley and the number that have sold each month for the past fifteen months. For a more in depth analysis, or a complete copy of all the charts and graphs, feel free to send me an email at matt@mattclarkcincinnati.com
Although the number of homes on the market in Oakley has not changed much over this time period, the amount of sales are UP OVER 28%! This is a great testimonial that Oakley continues to be a Cincinnati hotspot.

This graph shows months of inventory on the Cincinnati real estate market in Oakley. As you can see it is pretty choppy when you look month to month. Some of this is due to the seasonality of real estate, but when you compare year to year, inventory is down a bit (which is a great thing!). February of 2008 compared to 2009 shows 8.4 down to 5.7 months currently. Excess inventory on the Cincinnati real estate market is what is keeping homes from appreciating in price. Keeping the amount of inventory at an even level will help fuel the Cincinnati real estate market.
